Murva Renata Pizzulin - Friuli Venezia Giulia

Since 2009, the Murva winery has been run by Alberto and Renata as a synergy between the centuries-old winemaking traditions of both families and the “avant-garde” knowledge in the field of modern viticulture.

Their company philosophy strictly pursues the goal of producing wines that meet even the highest quality standards.

Today, the company in Morano in Friuli Venezia Giulia comprises almost 5 hectares. Four varieties are grown on this area: the white wine variety Malvasia Istriana, the autochthonous variety Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Sauvignon Blanc and Charonnay.

The production area of Murva is the Isonzo plain, known nationally as the Isonzo del Friuli DOC area. The area is extremely suitable for viticulture thanks to its soil composition and the fresh and dry Bora winds; in fact, in this area white and red wines of excellent reputation and wide distribution are produced.
