Tenuta Monteti - Tuscany / Maremma
Tenuta Monteti is located in Southern Tuscany (the Maremma region). The Baratta family, which for generations has been deeply linked to the Italian wine tradition, has found its new calling here, in the Maremma region: the production of great, prestigious wines with authentic personality and the distinctive yet unusual characteristics of the territory they represent. The cellar and its area are unique, so are its wines.
The first vintage was produced in 2004. The production strictly follows the highest standards of sustainability and quality: plot-wise harvesting, entirely hand-picked selection of grapes, no acceleration of fermentation with the addition of yeast.
The result of this dedication is the creation of two exceptional and first-class wines: the Monteti IGT and his younger brother, the Caburnio IGT (vintages of 2014 and 2015 were awarded with the 3 glasses of Gambero Rosso).
