Tenuta Tavignano - Marche
The Tenuta di Tavignano is located on the “Balcony of the Marche,” a hill with a breathtaking view of the Esino valley in the center of the Marche.
Since the early 90s, Beatrice Lucangeli and Stefano Aymerich di Laconi have started to develop the Tenuta di Tavignano into a high-level winery.
The cultivated area of about 30 hectares is located in the heart of the denominations of “Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico” and “Rosso Piceno DOC.”
The Verdicchio grape variety has been cultivated in this region for centuries. With the help of soft pressing and cold fermentation, Tenuta di Tavignano succedes in producing elegant white wines giving Verdicchio a new fame.
The Verdicchio Classico Superiore “Misco” and “Misco Riserva” are the classic white wines of the Tenuta di Tavignano, while the “Libenter” represents the Rosso Piceno of the region, produced from the Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
